I became a teacher, sometime ago, as I want to inspire and motivate young people to achieve beyond what they believe they can. I love going to the gym, travelling the country and cooking new recipes.

Hello! My name is Mrs Marlow and I am one of the Year 6 teachers. I have been at Vernon Terrace for 17 years and continue to love working with all the children and their families.

It has been a pleasure undertaking lots of roles within the school but this year I return to one of my favourite places- the classroom.

My favourite subjects to teach are literacy, art and PE. In my spare time I love reading and crafting and if it’s holiday time you will find me exploring new destinations!

I am Mrs Burton and I am very excited to be going into my second year at Vernon Terrace continuing to teach PE across the school. I love watching children being active, learning new skills and working together. I have been a teacher for 20 years and I love the fact that everyday is different. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family who also love getting involved in lots of sporting activities.

My passion is SEND and I believe all children have a fundamental right to education, regardless of the individual learning needs.

In my spare time I enjoy listening to gospel music and reading crime fiction books.
