    Dear pupil

Inspection of Vernon Terrace Primary School on 29 September 2016 to 30 September 2016

Ofsted is inspecting your school and would like to hear your views. You can do this by completing an online pupil questionnaire at the following link:

    questionnaire.ofsted.gov.uk/home/pupil121920

Your views are really important to us and will help inspectors understand your experience of school. The questionnaires work in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 11, and on mobiles and tablets, when you copy and paste the link into the browser.

You will not be asked for your name, so you will not be identified from the responses you make.

  • Howzat! Great Result at Cricket Competition.
Last Wednesday 19th June, Year 5 took part in the 'Kwik Cricket' Competition at the Old Northamptonians. On this rare sunny day 11 schools from across Northampton took part. Most of the schools were a lot bigger than Vernon Terrace with two form entry and so many more children to pick for the team. However this did not affect our spectacular team who won both matches played! The team did so well that in the second game  they didn't lose a single wicket! Patryk hit two sixes in the final over to clinch the last game against the 4th place team giving Vernon Terrace third place in the competition. Well done to all the year 5 pupils who took part. Mrs Rathe concluded that it was a great team effort and we are all very proud of the teams success!

We would like to say a  massive thank you to all the children and their creative efforts and a further congratulations to all our winners. We would also like to say thank you to our two Nursery Students Sam and Jamie for presenting the prizes dressed as a hen and Humpty Dumpty, nice one boys!

We would also like to congratulate all our pupils who had 100 percent attendance this term. A special mention to Year 6 who had the best overall attendance as a class.

Have an eggcellent Easter break and we will see all the Children when school re-opens on Monday April 15th.
